The communiqué highlights the importance of supporting an ANR government, in this case, the one headed by Santiago Peña and his partner Pedro Alliana. For this reason, the ANR decides to support the administration of President Santiago Peña, since they consider that it is framed in the principles and ideals of the Colorado Party, and oriented to promote the welfare of all the citizens of the Republic.The communiqué also celebrates that President Peña has presented the central points of his government program in the extraordinary session of the ANR Board this Wednesday. In this regard, the members of the Governing Board indicate that the first actions of Peña's government represent a direct benefit for the citizens, such as the price reduction, the implementation of the Tekoporã Mbarete program, the launching of night consultations in the IPS, the unrestricted defense of sovereignty in relation to the government's position in the conflict with Argentina over the toll in the Paraná Waterway, and the government's position in the conflict with Argentina over the toll in the Paraná Waterway.
