Ricardo Estigarribia, governor of Central, commented that they are already in the final stage of elaboration of the project for the construction of a mental health clinic, which will be an outpatient clinic to be built in the city of Fernando de la Mora, which will be at the disposal of all the inhabitants of the Central department, he indicated.the project will be divided into two parts: the first part will cover mental health issues and the second part the treatment of addictions, as this is one of the main scourges that plague society. This assistance center will have psychologists and psychiatrists, as well as social assistants, and will also include the provision of medicines for the patients who come to the site.with regard to support for addicts, they will seek to create an exclusive space and sign an agreement with the Addiction Treatment Center, for which they are already in talks with its owner, Dr. Manuel Fresco, he said. The intention is to have a rehabilitation center in Central, since up to now there is only a space for detoxification of addicts, the governor emphasized. "We want to offer this to the people who today do not have the attention of the State [...]", he said.
